SpiritEcuaJourney's mission is to invite you to experience the majesty and joy of the Amazon rainforest and share with you the wisdom of the rainforest’s people and their ancestors. This mission is accomplished through:

• Preserving the rainforest and the culture of its people through the practice of sustainable ecotourism that supports the indigenous culture and way of life. It is our firm belief that inviting people from across the world to experience first hand the joy, power, and healing beauty of the rainforest will inspire people to want to help preserve this paradise teaming with life while providing a sustainable living for indigenous communities.

• Actively engaging in and supporting reforestation and sustainable agriculture projects and developing education initiatives about how to not only prevent oil, mining and lumber companies from destroying the forest but how to sustain and regrow the forest for future generations to come.

• Offering apprenticeships and scientific and anthropological study opportunities which provide the chance to learn more in-depth about the biodiversity of the rainforest and the culture of its people.

• Offering opportunities to visitors to participate in shamanic healings and rituals that impart the indigenous cosmovision of communicating and living in harmony with nature.

• Establishing a foundation whose goal it is to support projects in health, cultural preservation and education that benefit local indigenous families and those in need throughout Ecuador.
