Kichwa Crafts - Watch up close the making of traditional Kichwa crafts including jewelry, baskets, wooden bowls, fishing/hunting tools and more. Classes are also offered where you can create these crafts yourself.
Cultural Exchange - Celebrate your journey with evenings of cultural exchange where traditional Kichwa dance, music, and legends are shared with you. You will be invited to participate and share traditions from your culture.
The Rio Blanco Kichwa Community - Visit the traditional Kichwa community/village of Rio Blanco in the heart of the rainforest and have the rare opportunity to meet with the people there to witness first hand traditional houses, school houses, farming methods, tools, and medicinal gardens within the community.
The Kichwa Language - The Kichwa language is the first language of many of the indigenous peoples of the Ecuadorian Amazon. You will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the language and learn to speak this ancient tongue.
